Straight out of Beyoncé’s playbook, this is all about long, loose and luxurious waves. Not too curly, nor too limp, this beefed-up, bodacious hair look will perfectly compliment every outfit.

“This look should scream healthy hair and is best started with products that will enhance shine and smoothness,” says Naomi Brooks, director of The Hair Sanctuary in Manchester. “It’s about giving that soft, natural texture.”

Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer misted through damp hair will give you the perfect canvas. If your hair tends to feel dry, work one or two pumps of Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil over the top to give you long-lasting smoothness from root to tip.

If you are an evening hair washer, braid your hair before sleeping and wake up to delicate waves. For those who like to dry their hair first, twist hair in large sections then wrap hair in the opposite direction around a medium-barrelled tong.

Separate the hair with your fingers and finish with either Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Dry Oil Finishing Spray for ultimate shine, or Bb. Sumo Liquid Wax + Finishing Spray.

This look is straight off the Christopher Kane S/S23 catwalk at London Fashion Week. It’s perfect for any situation where you need to go from chic office attire to the sassiest of cocktail evenings.

“I love working with the Bumble and bumble team backstage, everyone is always so welcoming and super talented,” says Claire Higgs, director of Nylon Hair Artists in Reading, who helped to create the looks for the Christopher Kane show. “I love seeing what’s at the forefront of the upcoming trends in advance of the season, with the fashion being the most important thing and seeing how this directly correlates with hair.”

To give longevity to this look use Bb. Thickening Spray on wet hair to give body, hold and smoothness.

Dry hair while twisting ends around your fingers to encourage movement, then curl with a large tong.

This look really suits a low side parting, either tucked behind the ear or add some cool clips and grips to change the silhouette. finish with a mist of Bb. Thickening Dryspun Texture throughout the hair to lock in your shape and give effortless lift and separation.

Bumble and bumble national digital trainer Aaron Firmstone created this look for the Bumble and bumble Salon Network Event, a gathering of some of the top Bumble and bumble network family of salons and stylists in the UK, to showcase the brand’s trend-leading talent.

Perfect for those who want to look done, but not overly so, this style is for those who like a slight ‘cool girl’ edge to their look. “I love showcasing this vibe as it infuses classic techniques with a modern aesthetic that can be tailored to your hair type and the vibe you want to rock – be it matte and more organic, or super high-shine couture,” says Aaron.

Separate hair in two; a top and bottom section.

Apply Bb. Thickening Full Form Mousse into your hands and work into the bottom section, comb through and secure with a hairband – this look works best if you aim to get the ponytail in the middle of the back of the head; think cheerleader vibes for this first step.

Repeat with the second section and secure just above the first. Add more mousse to the ends of each section, then twist and wrap around the bases in shiny hair ropes.

To complete the look, leave the ends of one ponytail out then press straight with the heat of your hands, or run straighteners over.
