#CHOPTOYOURCHIN with ghd – the Wavy Chop
This loose modern wave has a kick instead of a curl. Go for a deep side parting with a tuck behind the ear for a glamorous finish. Create this look using the new ghd limited edition pink blush collection, in partnership with Breast Cancer Now; keep your tresses in check and help fund vital research into breast cancer.
What you’ll need:
• ghd platinum limited edition pink blush styler and roll bag, £165 (£10 donated to Breast Cancer Now)
• ghd air limited edition pink blush hairdryer, £99 (£10 donated to Breast Cancer Now)
• ghd limited edition pink blush paddle brush, £20 (£2 donated to Breast Cancer Now)
The look: the Wavy Chop
Work the ghd curl hold spray into the hair, spritzing thoroughly and evenly throughout for maximum coverage.
Blow dry the hair using your fingers instead of a brush with the ghd air limited edition pink blush hairdryer.
Next, take a square section of hair, approximately the width of your styler. Place the ghd platinum limited edition pink blush styler at the root and rotate half a turn away from the face. Keep a slight downward angle on the direction to maintain length in the curl.
Repeat the technique through the hair, always turning the styler away from the face.
Once the whole head has been styled and the curls are cooled, dress the hair using the pink blush ghd paddle brush (£20), to gently smooth the hair.
Finish by creating a deep side parting using the ghd tail comb (£7.50) and flip the hair to the opposite side for extra volume and definition.
“Short hair can need more styling maintenance than longer hair…but remember that short hair takes less time to dry
so you can dedicate those extra minutes that you’ve saved on drying to styling your hair each day.”
– Adam Reed, ghd global ambassador
